Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and professional Mechanic to join our team as a subcontractor. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance, particularly in the mining sector. Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various mining equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure service excellence.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Mechanical Trade).
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the mining industry.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Current driver’s license and relevant safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, HRWL).
